Microfilaria of Wuchereria bancrofti (left) - Giemsa stain. Microfilariae are sheathed and measure 244 - 296 x 10 microns and no nuclei in tail. Microfilaria of Brugia malayi (right) are sheathed with 2 discrete nuclei in tip of tail 177-230 x 5-6 microns.
